How to get to Rome

Back to Home page

Unless you are on a Mediterranean cruise or touring Europe by car,
the easiest way to reach Rome is either by plane or train.

By plane

Rome has two international airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino airports) with over 40 million passengers passing through the city every year. If you live in Europe, it is now possible to visit the Italian capital for less than €50.

By train

Roma Termini railway station is the most important train station. Every day 800 trains arrive and depart from this station, with over 480,000 passengers daily, making it the largest train station in Italy.
